Arun Anant holds a management degree from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, India. His experience spans technology startups, investment houses, consultancy, media and advertising
He was earlier Chief Executive at UTV News ( Bloomberg partnership) and The Hindu. He was also Director Revenue & Strategy at Hindustan Times and Business head at the Times of India Group. Arun set up the strategic planning function at Lowe Advertising and worked on companies such as Unilever, Philips, Mondelez, Danone, etc.
He works closely with Education Institutions and their incubation centers. He is currently a visiting faculty at IIT BHU and Banasthali Vidyapith, where he is an advisor. He has previously been visiting faculty at Management Schools and a mentor at Centre for Incubation Innovation and Entrepreneurship at IIM Ahmedabad.
Arun is a certified graduate of Coaching Foundation of India and is based in India.
